School Council

The School Council consists of one Principal from each school, one staff member from each school, two Maddington Primary School parents, one Maddington Education Support Centre parent and two community members. Elections are held each year and advertised in the school newsletter. The functions of the School Council are: 

  • To generate overall school goals and policies, taking into account both Department of Education and Community requirements.
  • To assist the Principal in the formulation, implementation and review of the School Plan.
  • To formulate and approve the budget required to implement the School Plan.
